The Blackstars of Ghana after a second consecutive victory against Zimbabwe have jumped on top of the Group G world cup qualification Group. The Zimbabweans suffered the same fate after being outplayed by the Blackstars at the cape coast stadium in a 3-1 defeat. Thomas Partey's goal in the 31st minute of play was the only goal that separated the tie between both teams. The Arsenal midfielder places power in his shot from the setpiece that gets the ball right over the head of the Zimbabweans goalkeeper Shumba who looked unprepared between the post. Ghana  currently sits on top of the group with 9points and 2points above south Africa in second place. However , the result from the South Africa - Ethiopia clash later today, would determine the position of the Blackstars on the table. Anything but a win for south Africa tonight is good news for the Blackstars of Ghana.

Kanté ruled out of Juventus and Southampton Clash .

On Wednesday , when the Champions of Europe set up against Juventus in Turin, the 30year old midfield engine , Ngolo Kante wouldn't be available for the Blues. After recovering from an ankle and groin injury , the French star unfortunately picked up an illness which saw him come off the pitch in the second half game against Manchester City on Saturday . Chelsea would not only suffer the blow as he (Ngolo Kante) would miss their champions league game on Wednesday but also miss a crucial premier league  game against Southampton on Saturday. Chelsea on Saturday would be looking forward to secure the maximum points after losing to Manchester city last week  Saturday. It is definitely going to be a big game without Ngolo kante. However, players like Saul and Ruben loftus - cheek can take advantage of this to get more playing time and showcase their potentials to the blues family.
